Seller Terms & Conditions

Last updated: September 2026

By registering as a seller on Zime ("the Platform"), you agree to the following terms. Please also review our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your personal and business information.

1. Account Approval

Seller applications are reviewed before approval. Zime may approve, reject, or request further information at its discretion. Approval does not guarantee sales volume or platform visibility.

2. Product Listings

You are responsible for the accuracy of your product listings, including price, stock levels, and description. You may not list counterfeit, illegal, stolen, or prohibited goods. Zime reserves the right to remove any listing that violates this or appears fraudulent, without prior notice.

3. Order Fulfillment

You agree to have ordered items ready for driver pickup at the address registered on your account, within a reasonable time of receiving an order notification. Repeated failure to fulfil confirmed orders may result in suspension of your seller account.

4. Commission & Payouts

Zime deducts a platform commission from each completed sale, calculated automatically and shown to you in your Seller Dashboard for every order. The remaining net amount is owed to you and is paid out via EFT to the banking details on file in your account, at Zime's standard payout schedule. Payouts cannot be processed if valid banking details are not provided.

5. Store Availability

You may mark your store as open or closed at any time. While closed, your products will not be available for purchase. Frequent, unexplained store closures may affect your standing on the Platform.

6. Disputes & Returns

Customer disputes regarding product quality, accuracy, or condition should be resolved directly with the customer via the Platform's chat feature where possible. Zime may mediate unresolved disputes and reserves the right to withhold or reverse a payout while a dispute is under review.

7. Suspension & Termination

Zime may suspend or terminate a seller account for fraud, repeated order failures, prohibited listings, or breach of these terms. You may close your account at any time by contacting support; outstanding payouts owed to you at that point will still be honored.

8. Limitation of Liability

Zime acts as a marketplace connecting sellers, buyers, and drivers. Zime is not liable for losses arising from a buyer's or driver's conduct, except where required by law.

9. Changes to These Terms

Zime may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
